NEIGHBOURHOOD CLUBHOUSE LOCATIONS

Since 1946, O.C.C.N.A. has successfully organized recreational sports for the children of Oshawa. These programs are operated by the N.A.S.C. (Neighbourhood Association Sports Committee) which is a sub-committee of the O.C.C.N.A. (Oshawa Central Council of Neighbourhood Associations).

O.C.C.N.A Neighbourhood Park association boundaries geographically cover the entire City of Oshawa.  Established in 1946, the O.C.C.N.A. has evolved to provide local park clubhouses to serve the many members of our community and provides opportunities for those who have the desire to volunteer and give back to their community and more importantly, the children within their own neighbourhood.

The concept of the Neighbourhood Park Association was put in place to promote those who live within a larger City, the opportunity to work, play and interact with those who live within the boundaries of their park. The park association provides opportunities for those who are new to the area, different opportunities to "get to know your neighbours" by joining local, bowling, euchre, girl guides, boy scouts, and many sporting opportunities such as soccer, softball and hockey.

This concept has served the City of Oshawa well in providing those active park volunteers the opportunity to network themselves and branch out to other neighbourhood associations, therefore creating an important fabric within the community.
